| BODY & APPEARANCE. ⒈ Describe the character's height and build. Is she heavyset, thin, short, rangy? At 5'1, it's safe to say that she is pretty damn short. She's slender, and built like a ⒉ How old is she? She was born in the second month of King's Year 177 (aka KY177 - II). ⒊ Describe her posture. Does she carry herself well or does she slouch? She was born and raised a fighter, and it shows in her posture: straight and confident, but relaxed. ⒋ How is her health? Is she fit or out of shape? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities? Very fit, very healthy, with no disabilities. Her scars don't usually bother her at all, save perhaps for the worst of them. They, occasionally, will twinge or ache. ⒌ How does she move? Is she clumsy, graceful, tense, fluid? She's energetic and bouncy, but, again, she's a talented fighter who has trained all of her life! She's learned to taper a small streak of natural, distraction-born clumsiness, particularly when a situation requires her full attention or a quick response. ⒍ How attractive is the character physically? How does she perceive himself in the mirror? For all her lack of curves, Nalea is fairly attractive! She's more likely to be called cute or perhaps pretty than anything else; her outdoorsy, rugged lifestyle doesn't lend itself well to the typical standards of beauty. Still, she cleans up very nicely when she wants to. She honestly doesn't think about how attractive she is or isn't! BETTER THINGS TO DO, OKAY. But if asked she would say that she's happy with herself and feels comfortable with her body the way it is. ⒎ Describe her complexion. Dark, light, clear, scarred? She has light brown, tanned skin, marred by scars and covered in colorful tattoos. Seriously, she has a lot of tattoos. Some of them were drawn using scarification techniques as opposed to the more usual needles and inks, most notably the running fox on her collar. ⒏ Describe her hair: color, texture, style. She has a mess of short, thick, incredibly fluffy raven black hair. While it looks like she has a permanent case of bedhead, she actually does comb it regularly—mostly in the evenings, as the most practical way of keeping it clean and free of oils. ⒐ What color are her eyes? Bright blue! ⒑ Does the character have any other noteworthy features? Aside from her scars and tattoos, not really! She's a fairly plain, if pretty girl. ⒒ What are her chief tension centers? Her shoulders and calves! The latter is from all of the walking and running she does. ⒓ What is the character's wardrobe like? Casual, dressy, utilitarian? Bright colors, pastels, neutrals? Is it varied, or does she have six of the same suit? Traveling as much as she does means that she doesn't exactly have the most expansive of wardrobes. Her clothes tend to be sort of cute, fairly casual, and practical. She loves capes and cloaks, and almost always includes them in her outfits. Color-wise, she favors reds, browns, and neutrals. ⒔ Do her clothes fit well? Does she seem comfortable in them? Yes, and yes! She wouldn't choose clothes that don't feel comfortable to wear, as she values comfort and freedom of movement. ⒕ Does she dress the same on the job as she does in her free time? If not, what are the differences? Pretty much the same! Since her "job" is travelling the continent, seeking to solve her father's disappearance and paying her way by being a jack of all trades sort-of-detective-ish, having a uniform would be pointless. Under what circumstances might this change? MENTAL & EMOTIONAL. ⒈ How intelligent is the character? Is she book-smart or street-smart? ⒉ Does she think on her feet, or does she need time to deliberate? ⒊ Describe the character's thought process. Is she more logical, or more intuitive? RELATIONSHIPS. ⒈ Describe the character's relationship with her parents. ⒉ Does the character have any siblings? What is/was their relationship like? ⒊ Are there other blood relatives to whom she is close? Are there ones she can't stand? ⒋ Are there other, unrelated people whom she considers part of her family? What are her relationships with them? ⒌ Who is/was the character's best friend? How did they meet? ⒍ Does she have other close friends? ⒎ Does she make friends easily, or does she have trouble getting along with people? ⒏ Which does she consider more important: family or friends? ⒐ Is the character single, married, divorced, widowed? Has she been married more than once? ⒑ Is she currently in a romantic relationship with someone other than a spouse? ⒒ Who was her first crush? Who is her latest? ⒓ What does she look for in a romantic partner? ⒔ Does the character have children? Grandchildren? If yes, how does she relate to them? If no, does she want any? She doesn't have any children, but she would definitely like some! THEY ARE ON HER TO DO LIST it's just too bad there's fertility and apocalypse-y issues to deal with, oops. There's no particular deep and meaningful reason behind it; she'd just . . . like to be a parent, and to bring new life into the world. ⒕ Does she have any rivals or enemies? Her biggest enemies are a certain cult sect born in Lepus but based in Cepheus, and a scattering of other jerks she spoiled the plans of during her years of wandering and do-gooding! As for rivalries, she has a strong one with Dash, a Vulpeculan treasure hunter and older sister to Nalea's friend, Jinx. The rivalry isn't a hateful one, and Nalea's at least a little sure that Dash would help her out in a dangerous pinch—she's just also sure her wallet would be missing after the fact. AND THAT IS ANNOYING. ⒖ What is the character's sexual orientation? Wshere does she fall on the Kinsey scale? Prrrrrobably a 2! She is monogamous to a fault, but if she wasn't already unofficially married to a dude and still focused on her Mission In Life, she'd be pretty open to relationships with ladies. ⒗ How does she feel about sex? How important is it to her? She likes sex! It's fun, it's a workout, it's intimate. As for its level of importance . . . it's actually pretty significant to her. Since her partner is somebody who keeps his guard up and watches his personal space carefully, it's both thrilling and gratifying to know that she is allowed in so close. Trusting and being trusted in turn makes her super happy ⒘ What are her turn-ons? Turn-offs? Weird bedroom habits? Nalea can actually be pretty kinky underneath the tsun and fluster. She likes roughness, fights for dominance, restraint . . . some knife-play maybe . . . She's a bit of a masochist, okay. HOWEVER it all has to be incredibly consensual, and the wind-down and aftercare and snuggling are important to her. Being degraded or feeling like she was being used would be a huge turn-off—she absolutely would not stand for it.
